“Kelair is our go-to manufacturer for applications in the damper (air-volume control or shut off) industry, especially when the applications requires high temperature, or customer design/materials. The quote turn around is on par, or better, than our other manufacturers. The pricing is competitive. The lead times are slightly longer than the more “commercial” equipment manufacturers, but that is to be expected. The quality of design and fabrication is superior. Our customers regularly comment on the quality and “weight” of the products we provide. Most recently we provided a couple 800 degree refractory lined butterfly dampers with electric actuators. The customer was thrilled with their quality, most specifically how much better they shut off the air flow than the dampers they replaced. Not all damper applications require a Kelair damper. The applications that do require the robust design Kelair offers leave us with no other viable manufacturer to pick from. Thank you for continuing to design and deliver the “good stuff”.”
